This position is essential to the smooth operation of our culinary services, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks and food handling. Support catering events by ensuring that all banquet dishes are cleaned promptly and efficiently. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to maintain a clean dining area. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is an asset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
