In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting the overall efficiency of food service operations. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes and specifications. Assist cooks and chefs in cooking and plating dishes for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of food items. Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe kitchen environment. Support banquet and catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed. Buss tables and assist with cleaning dining areas as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel or banquet settings is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
