McKeesport, PA 15135 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our restaurant operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen staff in their duties. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes from dining areas. Ensure that all food handling and safety regulations are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods. Participate in regular cleaning tasks for kitchen equipment and storage areas. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
