Summary We are seeking an Expediter to join our dynamic team at Dive Bar & Grille. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, facilitating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain our high standards of service. Responsibilities Coordinate orders between the kitchen and servers to ensure timely delivery of food. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen. Assist in managing kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during peak hours. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld in the kitchen area. Support kitchen staff with preparation tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is a plus.
