The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the establishment. This includes restrooms, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and the kitchen. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting independently. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all restrooms throughout the shift ( toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and dispensers) Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of floors by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting in the kitchen and front-of-house areas. Take out trash and replace liners. Refill soap, paper towel, air freshener, and toilet paper dispensers. Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, counters, entry ways, kickplates. Perform deep cleaning tasks on a regular schedule to maintain cleanliness. Assist with buffing surfaces and maintaining overall hygiene in food preparation areas. Transporting clean dishes back to their designated areas efficiently. Perform custodial tasks as needed to keep the kitchen and dining areas tidy. Participate in facilities maintenance by reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly. Assist with residential outdoor space such as light weeding, salting, shoveling, or other maintenance tasks as required during downtime. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout shifts. Qualifications Must be reliable. Previous experience in commercial cleaning and/or dishwashing is preferred but not required. Familiarity with custodial duties, floor care techniques, and dishwashing is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to upholding health and safety regulations. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new skills related to facilities maintenance as needed.
