Full Job Description Summary:
Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition according to established sanitation and service standards.

Essential Job Functions:
Scrapes food from dirty dishes. Places tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Washes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipment. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Follows sanitation and safety guidelines. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. At least six months related experience or training preferred. Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Regularly required to see; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stoop, and kneel. Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.
