Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, counters, and equipment. Assist in food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed.
