Dishwasher Roland’s Trattoria 2800 West Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. This position is essential in supporting our restaurant operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. A background in hospitality or culinary settings such as hotels, banquets, or catering is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors and work surfaces. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Properly store clean dishes and kitchenware in designated areas. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health standards. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a healthy work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary for the role.
