The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential in supporting our food service operations, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist in bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as needed to support the front-of-house team. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support food preparation by assisting cooks with basic tasks as required. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Skills Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is an asset. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
