The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is vital for supporting our culinary team and ensuring a smooth operation during busy service hours. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. Good communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with colleagues.
