Internal and External Position Description This position is responsible for performing custodial duties, kitchen duties, grounds duties and maintaining them in a healthy safe and sanitary manner at Wampee. Essential Tasks Cleans and sanitizes restrooms using established practices and procedures. Replenishes all supplies in restrooms. Cleans all mirrors. Does regular house cleaning such as making beds, doing laundry. Cleans interior floors of buildings by mopping sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing and waxing a variety of floor surfaces. Keeps exterior porches clean. Cleans Assembly Hall and cottages as needed. Keeps kitchen equipment clean. Empties all waste containers and recycle bins. Takes trash from kitchen to the dumpster. Operates commercial dishwasher as needed and maintains chemicals. Position Requirements High school diploma + 1 year of related experience required. Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products; and the ability to under little supervision. This position is an ambassador for Santee Cooper.
