This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Support the culinary team by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and organized. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
