Busboy/Dishwasher Goat Island Restaurant & Lounge 9645 Wash Davis Rd, Summerton, SC 29148 Overview Goat Island Restaurant & Lounge is looking for a dependable, hard-working Busboy / Dishwasher / Utility Team Member to help with a little bit of everything—both inside and out. This is not just a dishwashing or table-clearing job. You’ll be supporting the restaurant wherever needed: from wiping down tables and running dishes, to leaf blowing, weed eating, grass cutting, taking out trash, and light maintenance . If you like staying busy, being helpful, and working in a lakefront setting, this is a great opportunity.

Duties:

Clear and sanitize tables promptly during service Run dirty dishes to the kitchen and operate the commercial dishwasher Sweep, mop, and take out trash from kitchen and dining areas Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies Perform outdoor maintenance tasks such as: Leaf blowing Weed trimming Grass cutting Basic landscaping and yard upkeep Assist with light maintenance and repairs as needed Support kitchen staff with prep work or cleanup during rushes Help with event setup and breakdown (e.g., DJ nights, karaoke)

Skills:

Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive Ability to follow directions and work independently Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods Basic understanding of cleanliness and food safety, or willingness to learn Attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Flexible and ready to jump into various tasks, both inside and outside

Job Types:

$7.90 – $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
