Dishwasher/Food Prep Cape Fear Seafood Company (North Myrtle Beach) 1386 US Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher and/or Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our catering and hospitality services. This position requires a passion for food handling and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen. Duties Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Wash dishes from the line and the rest of the restaurant keep a positive attitude with the Front and Back of house Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support cooks and chefs by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Participate in catering events by assisting with food setup, serving, and bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food handling procedures. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service.
