The Steward/Dishwasher is essential to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all dishware, cookware, and kitchen spaces meet the highest sanitation standards. Steward Responsibilities:
Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils. Clean pots and pans. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service. Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver. Stock and maintain supplies and equipment. Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to mopping and trash removal. Train other stewards as needed. Prepare and set clean silverware out for events and functions
Steward Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
