Steward/Dishwasher Concord Hospitality Enterprise Nashville, TN 37203 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Participate in banquet setups as required, ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Experience Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary practices and kitchen operations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds).
