Dishwasher Westin Chattanooga Chattanooga, TN 37402 The Westin Chattanooga is currently recruiting for Dishwashers in our restaurant. This hotel is managed by Defoor Hospitality Group. We are looking for a dishwasher to clean, and put away dishes. The Kitchen is to be kept organized and easily accessible for servers and cooks to clean dishes.

Job Summary:

Cleans dishes and dish area thoroughly and efficiently. Responds to and services other kitchen and cleaning needs in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Make sure the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Aid the Kitchen in keeping organized and easily accessible for servers and cooks to clean dishes. Prioritizing loads of different types of kitchenware throughout shift. Hand-washing dishes as needed by dish type and or capacity. Loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry. Dispose of leftover food in dishes and remove trash throughout shift. Maintains kitchen sanitation program and exercises proper use of equipment. Adhere to all Health Department rules and regulations. Must perform any other required duties as requested by the General Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Manager on Duty to aid in better operation of the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and service to the guests. Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc. Immediately reports all guest issues to the Manager on Duty Must be in proper uniform at all times Report to the executive chef and follow instructions

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must have a willingness to help. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and Holidays. Must be honest and work well in a repetitive task. Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Must treat all fellow employees in a respectable manner.

Physical Requirements:

Stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment. Must be able to work in extremely warm temperatures. Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and far. Finger dexterity to clean, load, and otherwise manipulate dishes and kitchenware. Must be able to bend, stretch arms overhead and lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

Hours:

Evenings – typical shifts start around 3pm and may end around 12:00 am.

Full Time Pay:

$11-$13 per hour based on experience
