The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen environment. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and kitchen appliances. Assist with inventory management by organizing and stocking supplies as needed. Support the team with heavy lifting tasks such as loading and unloading dish racks. Ensure proper maintenance of dishwashing machines and report any malfunctions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes during peak hours. Follow all safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with inventory control processes and the use of RF scanners is a plus. Strong communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required (up to 50 pounds). Experience in customer service or retail sales is beneficial for interaction with staff and customers. Knowledge of produce handling, packaging, shipping & receiving processes is an asset.
