Full Job Description Description:
WindRiver offers a wide variety of dining options including Citico’s restaurant, the Grill at WindRiver, the WindRiver Club Snack Bar, and an array of events both on and off location. As a Dishwasher, you will support the kitchen staff by cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing all dishes and cookware. The position is part-time, and general schedule is Thursday-Saturday 3pm-10pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchenware by hand or using commercial dishwashers. Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, including equipment and trash receptacles. Assist with kitchen support tasks such as stocking and food prep. Set up and break down workstations efficiently. Follow proper chemical handling and food safety procedures (MSDS standards, temperature checks, labeling, inventory rotation). Operate kitchen equipment safely and secure deliveries upon arrival. Clean spills, report equipment issues or injuries, and maintain professional hygiene and behavior. Follow opening/closing procedures. Attend required meetings and complete daily/weekly/monthly operational routines. Ensure all utilities and equipment are shut off at day’s end.
Requirements:
1-year experience in the food service industry in the kitchen (preferred). High School Diploma preferred (preferred). Must be 18 years or older (required).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Understanding of sanitation, health and safety standards, and restaurant etiquette. Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and operating procedures. Strong communication skills; team-oriented with a positive attitude. Flexible and dependable for weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.
