Dishwasher/Food Prep Clyde’s of Clarksville 1150 Warfield Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37043 Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher and Food Prep team member to join our kitchen staff. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen while also assisting with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwashing Duties:

Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Ensure dishwashing station is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Safely operate and maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment. Take out trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen waste areas. Monitor cleaning supplies and inform management when stock is low.

Food Preparation Duties:

Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies. Ensure all food is stored and handled properly according to health and safety standards. Follow recipes and prep lists provided by chefs or kitchen managers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep areas.

Requirements:

Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
