The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our dishwashing equipment and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. This role is essential in supporting our culinary operations and providing a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation. Duties Operate dishwashing machines efficiently to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Sort, stack, and organize clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Monitor the dishwashing process to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment. Assist in the inventory management of cleaning supplies and report any shortages. Follow proper sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food preparation. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
