As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with merchandise sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the golf shop. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at our facility. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding merchandise and services. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking merchandise as needed. Assist in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Provide information about golf equipment, apparel, and accessories to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about shop offerings and scheduling tee times as necessary. Ensure the golf shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service. Pull out Golf Carts in the morning for the day’s play. Keep golf carts stocked and in order for guest that are coming to play as well guest that have finished for the day. • Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Proficiency in cash handling and experience operating cash registers. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory control and sales analysis. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability. Knowledge of golf equipment and apparel is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Must work well alone and be proactive at all times.
