Position Summary:
The Pool & Beach Attendant is responsible for creating a seamless, high-touch guest experience across The Savoy’s pool and beach areas. This role ensures that all lounge setups are immaculate, guests are greeted with warmth and professionalism, and service is attentive and anticipatory, reflecting the hotel’s upscale barefoot luxury identity.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down all lounge areas daily, including umbrellas, daybeds, cabanas, towels, and tables for both pool and beach Greet and assist guests upon arrival, offering towels, helping with seating, and responding to all service needs Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool and beach areas at all times Coordinate with the F&B team to support food and beverage service—taking, relaying, and delivering guest orders Monitor guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction; report any concerns or incidents immediately Maintain a consistent inventory of towels and amenities; restock as needed throughout the day Uphold all hygiene, health, and safety protocols in line with hotel standards Stay knowledgeable about hotel offerings, special events, and local recommendations to enhance guest interaction Work closely with the Guest Experience team to deliver unified service across all guest-facing areas
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality, luxury resorts, or pool/beach service preferred Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours outdoors in heat and sun Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, polished appearance and a calm, composed demeanor Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required
