Pool Attendant The Villa Casa Casuarina 1144 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests at our pool facility. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various responsibilities related to pool operations and guest interactions. Responsibilities Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety of all guests, enforcing rules and regulations as necessary. Provide exceptional guest services by greeting patrons, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Assist with the setup and maintenance of poolside amenities, including lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels. Engage with children and families to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests of all ages. Experience working with children is a plus; must be comfortable engaging with families. Certification as a lifeguard is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential. Background in food service or theater can enhance guest interaction experiences. Conflict management skills are important for resolving issues that may arise among guests.
