Pool Attendant Job Summary:
As a Pool Monitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all residents and guests utilizing the pool area. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor pool activities, enforce rules and guidelines, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Enforcement:
Remain present at the pool area during designated hours to oversee all activities. Ensure adherence to pool rules, regulations, and building guidelines at all times. Proactively identify and address any situations that may pose a safety risk or violate established rules. Maintain awareness of pool capacity limits and enforce accordingly to ensure a safe environment for all.
Reporting and Communication:
Promptly report any incidents, rule violations, or maintenance issues to appropriate authorities. Document and report any unusual activities or concerns observed within the pool area. Communicate effectively with residents and guests, providing clear instructions and assistance as needed.
Customer Service:
Greet residents and guests upon arrival at the pool area in a friendly and welcoming manner. Assist residents and guests with inquiries, concerns, or requests related to pool amenities and services. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere by promoting a sense of community and respect among pool users.
Amenities Maintenance:
Regularly inspect pool amenities such as chairs, umbrellas, and cleanliness of the pool area. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel for timely resolution. Ensure proper storage and organization of pool equipment and supplies.
Emergency Response:
Remain vigilant and prepared to respond promptly to any emergency situations, including accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies. Follow established emergency procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Knowledge of basic pool safety practices and emergency response procedures. Must be able to work weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying moderate loads, such as pool supplies and equipment. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

12:00pm to 11:00pm Spanish highly preferred. Annual salary based on a full-time (40 hrs) schedule.
