Overview:

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Seasonal Pool & Beach Attendants. As a key member of our resort staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests & members. The majority of your responsibilities will involve supervising pool operations, with occasional assignments to assist with beach-related tasks as well as beach parking lot supervision.

Responsibilities:

Pool Operations Supervision:

Monitor and enforce pool rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns and providing fresh towels.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in and around the pool area as well as keeping up with towel inventory.

Beach Assistance:

Carry and set up beach chair side tables and towels for guests on the beach as needed.
Assist with light beach setup and teardown as needed.
Assist in monitoring beach activities to ensure safety.

Customer Service:

Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Offer assistance with any pool or beach-related inquiries.
Be attentive to guests’ needs and provide timely solutions.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections of pool and beach equipment. any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.

Safety Compliance:

Ad to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Respond promptly to any emergency situations and follow established procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including exposure to sun, wind, and rain.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, including chair side tables and beach supplies.
Stamina and endurance for prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Comfortable with light manual labor associated with beach setup and teardown.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic kledge of pool and beach safety procedures.

Schedule:

This is a full-time seasonal position, with the majority of shifts focused on pool operations. However, flexibility is required as occasional assignments to the beach may be necessary. EOE M/D/F/V
