Golf Pro Shop Attendant The Ledges Golf Club York, ME 03909 Job Overview We are seeking a Pro Shop Attendant with retail experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while managing the retail operations of the pro shop. You will assist customers with check-ins and purchases, and ensure a welcoming environment in our Pro Shop. Responsibilities Greet customers assist with check in process and any pro shop purchases. Operate POS software and register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Demonstrate excellent phone skills when answering customer inquiries and booking tee times. Maintain a clean and organized retail space, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively. Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts. Collaborate with golf staff to ensure seamless operation of the operation. Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and sales reports effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in retail environment working with a POS system. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate pricing and reporting. A passion for sports or recreational activities related to the pro shop offerings is advantageous.
