• Knoxville is a sensory-safe kids’ gym designed for ALL children
• neurotypical, neurodivergent, and those with special abilities! With over 6,000 square feet of play and party space, we provide a safe, clean, and inclusive environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. Through purposeful play, we provide a space for children to build strength, confidence, and friendships
• all while having fun!

Job responsibilities:

During Open Play, parents are required to remain with their children. Your role is to check families into our system, engage with families, offer support when needed, and answer any questions during their visit. You are also responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe environment at all times. At other events, such as Parent’s Night Out (PNO) or Camps, you may work more directly 1:1 with children as part of your responsibilities. On weekends you would likely work alongside additional staff

• as well as the responsibilities listed above, you would also be required to setup/break down party rooms, assist party guests, arrange/rearrange party decor, set up food, etc.

Other responsibilities:

reset and organize retail, open and close gym, must be able to lift at least 30 lbs., cleaning (bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, dusting), resetting areas of the gym

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone willing to do the above and extras, as needed!
• Must be a mature individual that understands and will adhere to general professional business acumen
• Passion for working with children of ALL abilities
• experience is a plus!
• A VERY energetic, enthusiastic and positive attitude is a must!
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, as well as a creative thinker!
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Screen Cloud etc
• Someone who wants to help and has a passion for our work
• Someone who will make themselves available to work after hour events, such as Parents Night Out, Respite care, and/or other special events.
• MUST be okay with cleaning/sanitizing and organizing.

This is a BIG part of this job as families and kids deserve to be in a clean and safe space!

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children of ALL abilities

REQUIREMENT.

• If you are a high school or college student: you must be at least 16 years old; preferably with a background or interest in Children’s Education, Early Childhood and Recreation, Primary Education, and Allied Health Professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Current or willingness to obtain a CPR certification, background check & drug test
