Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Center Attendant to join our team. As a Fitness Center Attendant, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our fitness facility and swimming pool and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Compensation is hourly, with the opportunity to make more by providing fitness classes and personal coaching (if applicable

• not mandatory), as well as receiving commission on sales in Fitness Center Pro Shop.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the fitness facility and swimming pool including operations, equipment, scheduling, classes and training
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Create and execute fitness programs and classes to meet the needs of our diverse membership base
• Regularly update policies and procedures to meet the needs of the Fitness Center and Country Club
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
• Collaborate with marketing team to promote facility offerings and increase membership sales
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for members, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in fitness customer service or related field
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, techniques, and industry trends
• Proficient in math for inventory management and financial reporting purposes
• Familiarity with POS systems for sales transactions and inventory tracking
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams, and allocate resources accordingly
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently and has a strong work ethic.

The candidate will play an important role in maintaining the Brooksville Country Club Fitness Center as a safe, clean, well-organized location for fitness training for members and guests alike.
