Activity Manager (Celebrity Cruises) Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

As Activity Manager, you will be responsible for working with theCruise Director to coordinate, schedule and supervise theactivities presented by the Cruise Director?s Division. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Schedules and supervises members of the Entertainment Team
• Maintains and supervises all lockers and storage areas for theEntertainment & Cruise Programs Department
• With the assistance of the Cruise Director, he/she is responsiblefor assisting in the preparation of and reviewing the format anddescription of the activity portion of the Daily Program.

He/Shecan also expect to be trained in the same regarding Music and Showsinput into the Daily Program. It is the Cruise Director?s ultimateresponsibility to prepare the Daily Program, but the ActivityManager should learn this skill

• Socializes with guests at ideal times such as sea days andcocktail hours, in order to lead the Entertainment Team byexample
• Provides departmental and position familiarization for all newmembers of the Entertainment Team. Ensures a proper transition ofhandovers or lack of, by being fully knowledgeable of all aspectsof Entertainment Team
• Provides input and submits evaluations for members of theEntertainment Team to the Cruise Director. The Cruise Director isresponsible for personally delivering the evaluations to therespective team member
• Along with the Cruise Director, the Activity Manager shouldde-greet guests when arriving in port and assist with crowd controland guest flow
• Assists in all capacities in achieving revenue increases in areasrelated to the Entertainment & Cruise Programs Department, asrequested by the Cruise Director
• The Activity Manager is responsible for managing guest flowduring tendering, when tender tickets are being distributed.

Oncethe vessel goes to open tender, his or her responsibility iscompleted. The Marine Department is ultimately responsible for thesafety of our guests and the technical operations duringtendering
