Full Job Description Overview:
We are a new property management company building a dedicated pool operations team. The Pool Team Lead will play a critical role in overseeing the maintenance and safety of swimming pools, hot tubs, and related amenities across our properties. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure high standards of maintenance and guest satisfaction.
Salary:
$60,000 annually + 5% of department profit + gas allowance Key Responsibilities Operational & Technical Schedule and oversee pool maintenance staff. Hire, train, and support the onboarding of new team members. Inspect pool and hot tub systems to ensure functionality and safety. Maintain water systems, filtration systems, pumps, and related equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and status inquiries. Coordinate with other internal departments on work orders and repair needs. Track team KPIs and performance metrics; make operational adjustments as necessary. Set and monitor team goals. Perform additional duties as needed. Leadership & Team Development Conduct staff performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback. Foster a team environment aligned with company values and high service standards. Mentor team members in day-to-day responsibilities and long-term growth. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations. Promote safe practices and contribute to procedural improvements. Model professionalism and encourage a respectful, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of swimming pool maintenance experience. At least 3 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
Education:
College diploma preferred. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
Other Requirements:
Available for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. Proficient in English (written and verbal).
