The Student Community Activities Manager administers daily operations of Student Community Activities, the Student Community Association, Student Clubs, and student-led events through the use of club faculty and staff advisors, outside partners, presenters, and programs. This person should create an environment for student participation, leadership, civic engagement, and community involvement and manage the budget associated with these functions. This position will serve as co-advisor to the Student Community Association.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Student Community Serve as support for all Club Advisors (Faculty & Staff Advisors) Manage the Club Advisor approval process following guidelines from HR and Compliance Training employees on establishing and maintaining student clubs and events Host the Monthly Club Advisor Roundtable meeting Ensure that student club leaders earn GPS points for volunteering to enhance student involvement Manage/Oversee all Club Involvement Review and Approve event requests, i.e., Full Sail One, AV Set up, and production needs Keep the Student Community Activities Policies/Guidelines current Support and Train Club Advisors Ensure that the Student Community Association is supporting all student clubs Manage the approval process for community partners and vendors for on-campus event participation and tabling Events Ensure compliance with initiatives to support federally mandated holidays and initiatives such as the Drug-Free Program, Safety Program, Voter Registration, and Constitution Day. Manage the Student Event Budget monthly Order supplies Review/Approve event requests Supervise student events as needed (this may include nights and weekends) Support Clubs’ special events Coordinate Pre and Post Production meetings Coordinate creation and distribution of promotional materials Collaborate with Full Sail’s Social Media Department Collaborate with student newsletter “The Dispatch” Report on student community activities Ensure that attendance is recorded Send and review survey results for each student community activity Review/Approve student fundraisers Manage/Enforce the campus-wide Poster Policy Software Management/Social Media/Marketing Create content and Manage the Full Sail One SCA page Collaborate with the Full Sail One team for the approval and creation of new Club Pages and Spaces Review clubs’ social media presence Outreach Collaborate with Staff & Culture Development Collaborate with Faculty Development Contribute content to the student e-newsletter “The Dispatch” bi-weekly Provide a monthly recap/archives of all student community activities through the SCA’s Navigator Management Responsible for managing the Student Community Advisor Responsible for hiring, training, creating schedules and assigning work Responsible for overseeing up to twenty Federal Work-Study Students Responsible for hiring, training, creating schedules and assigning work Responsible for managing Intern(s) Responsible for hiring, training, creating schedules and assigning work Must be available some nights and weekends and on-call.

Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in the following fields preferred: Student Affairs, Student Community, Engagement or Involvement, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Liberal Studies or related field of study 5+ Years Experience working in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Counseling, Social Services or Community Engagement is preferred.

Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficiency using CampusVue and SalesForce a plus
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input, and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
