The Opportunity As our Director of Member & Guest Experience, you’ll be the steward of every relationship, every touchpoint, and every moment that makes our members feel like they truly belong. From onboarding and daily engagement to events, concierge services, and athletic programs, you’ll oversee the heartbeat of the St. Pete Athletic experience. You’ll lead a cross-functional team that brings warmth, personality, and precision to everything we do—ensuring that members feel known, celebrated, and consistently delighted. This is a role for a leader who sees hospitality as both a mindset and a muscle, and who knows that when the experience is right, everything else follows. What You’ll Do Membership Experience & Retention
- Own the full member journey—from initial inquiry and onboarding to long-term satisfaction and renewals.
- Serve as the primary liaison for members and VIP guests, ensuring seamless service and high-touch relationship management across departments.
- Oversee all membership processes including applications, waitlists, renewals, CRM updates, and account services.
- Know your members like family—celebrate their wins, anticipate their needs, and personalize the experience at every level.
- Design service recovery protocols and proactive hospitality strategies that build loyalty and retention.
- Monitor satisfaction through surveys, feedback loops, and direct touchpoints with members.
- Partner with leadership to evolve offerings and guest experience based on member needs, trends, and club goals. Athletic & Event Engagement
- Oversee the Athletics Coordinator, who manages all programming and operations across pickleball, padel, table tennis, and fitness.
- Collaborate with FOH leadership to refine concierge operations and guest service standards—from SOP creation to real-time execution.
- Own the event and social programming experience, leading the Events Manager to ensure exceptional execution, energy, and alignment with brand culture.
- Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to bring club culture to life through activations, tournaments, social mixers, and wellness events. Guest Experience & Club Culture
- Design and uphold service standards across all touchpoints—from check-in to locker room to courtside cocktail.
- Partner with department heads to ensure the member-first mentality is consistent across operations.
- Lead internal training and coaching around hospitality, communication, and member engagement. Financial Performance & Accountability
- Own the P&L for all membership, athletic, and event programming.
- Ensure all charges related to memberships, pros, fitness, and events are properly tracked and processed.
- Monitor monthly KPIs and use financial insights to inform programming, staffing, and experience design.
- Balance operational enhancements with financial performance to optimize revenue and elevate member value. Who You Are
