Full Job Description Regional Sales Manager Job Description :
Jack’s Magic Products (JMP) is a specialty swimming pool chemical manufacturer located in Largo, FL. JMP has been the leader in pool & spa stain identification, removal & prevention for 30+ years and is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast (Alabama, Florida Panhandle, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee) to join our team. The regional manager for Jack’s Magic Products, Inc. will be responsible for growing sales of Jack’s Magic & Power Blue products in his/her territory, maintaining customer relationships, working with manufacturers’ representatives, and establishing new business opportunities. They will also be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of customer support through education and training and technical guidance.
Responsibilities :
The following responsibilities are not listed in any order of importance, and may evolve over time: Grow & manage sales in designated territory, create action plans and quotas for regions, strategic and tactical strategies for account expansion in all territories Maintain existing customer relations, manage customer expectations and secure new customers Manage customer tech support in the field, including water parks & resort pools Make field calls regarding pool staining issues as appropriate Work with plaster material manufacturers & plaster companies with discoloration issues Maintain relationships with rep groups Attend & lead account reviews, set sales goals, participate in ongoing training of rep groups on process, programs & products and travel with representatives as needed Manage relationships with distributors at all levels, dealers & buying groups, including Pinch-a-Penny Train distributor reps, dealers & service techs on process, products and program Represent Jack’s Magic Products at international and regional industry trade shows, table tops etc. Teach & train customers on the Certified Stain Specialist (CSS)® Program and Staining & Discoloration program; conduct CSS training and/or generic training at industry trade shows. Participate with local industry chapters (APSP, IPSSA), providing support & training Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting travel requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances quarterly, and initiating corrective actions
Travel:
Overnight Travel 50%+ of time Some out of territory, weekend, and international travel on occasion
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the swimming pool industry Water chemistry knowledge a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (such as Salesforce) Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, stretch, lift, push, and pull. Fit for duty test required.
