This position does NOT involve pool maintenance, pool chemistry altering, or other responsibilities traditionally associated with pool cleaners and lifeguards. Instead, as pool attendants and hospitality manager, you all serve the purpose of enhancing swimming pools through customer service, visitor sign-in and, and furniture organization. As a Hospitality Manager (Seasonal), you’ll serve as the on-site leader overseeing operations at the swimming pools of a community Thursday through Sunday. You will manage a team of 4 attendants, create and adjust schedules, uphold company standards, and ensure the smooth execution of daily tasks and guest interactions. This is a hands-on position based at the pools themselves—not remote—and you will act as the point of contact for both employees and community partners during your shift. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of a space.

Key Responsibilities:

Directly manage a team of 4 attendants across two pool sites. Create weekly schedules and adjust staffing based on pool needs. Reinforce performance standards and company protocols. Be the on-site escalation point for incidents, concerns, or community inquiries. Conduct spot checks and walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, order, and rule compliance. Train and mentor new or underperforming staff. Serve as the visible leader on-site, setting the tone for the entire guest experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent. Prior supervisory or leadership experience (hospitality, events, customer service, or recreation strongly preferred). Must be available to work Thursday through Sunday each week. Professional appearance and demeanor, including compliance with grooming and tattoo/piercing policy. Reliable transportation to and from both pool locations. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to pass a criminal background check and employment history screening. No more than 4 jobs in the past 2 years. What to

Expect:

This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You will be the highest-ranking person on-site during your shift. Communities will depend on you to make judgment calls, coach employees, and help elevate the reputation of the space. You’ll be expected to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and maintain both the appearance and atmosphere of the pool areas. Preferred Experience (not required): Hospitality, resort, or amenity oversight background. Customer-facing roles in fast-paced or high-stakes environments. Familiarity with incident reporting and de-escalation techniques. Experience working with families, children, or large groups. The Pool Attendant Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate based on age, disability, sex, race, religion or belief, gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy/maternity, or sexual orientation.
