Pool Technician 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Hazleton, PA 18202 SEASONAL Eagle Rock Resor t is seeking a qualified Pool Technician . As a pool technician at Eagle Rock Resort, your primary responsibility is to maintain and repair the swimming pools, and other water features on the resort property.
Your duties may include:
Daily pool maintenance: This involves testing the water quality, adjusting chemicals as needed, and cleaning the pool and surrounding area.
Equipment repair:
You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
Safety checks:
You will regularly inspect the pool area to ensure that all safety measures are in place and functioning properly.
Record keeping:
You will keep detailed records of all pool maintenance and repairs, as well as any incidents or accidents that occur.
Communication:
You will work closely with other members of the resort staff to coordinate pool maintenance and repair schedules, and to address any concerns or issues related to the pool area.
Guest services:
You will provide assistance and support to guests who use the pool area, including answering questions and providing guidance on pool safety and etiquette. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of pool maintenance and repair, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also be able to work independently and have the ability to problem solve on your own. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred.
