This role involves managing a team of repair technicians, scheduling service appointments, ensuring timely and high-quality pool repair services, and occasionally performing hands-on repair work. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing leadership with technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination Coordinate and assign daily repair jobs to technicians. Ensure billing clerk has proper information to communicate with customers to schedule repair appointments. Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and customer needs. Team Management & Leadership Supervise and support pool repair technicians in the field. Assist with training, mentoring, and evaluating team performance. Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures. Technical & Repair Duties Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing. Troubleshoot structural or mechanical issues in residential and commercial pools. Maintain inventory of tools and parts and ensure proper use and care of company equipment. Customer Service Serve as point-of-contact for escalated service issues. Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and customer expectations. Provide quotes and explain repair recommendations to customers when needed. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in pool repair or related field. Prior experience in a supervisory or management role preferred. Strong knowledge of pool systems, equipment, and repair techniques preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
