Summer Camp Leader Children’s Center for Creative Learning 163 Old Warner Road, Bradford, NH 03221 Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Leader to oversee and engage children in a fun and safe camp environment. The Camp Leader will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising activities that promote learning, teamwork, and personal growth. This role requires a passion for working with children and the ability to create a positive atmosphere where campers can thrive. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily camp activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Develop engaging programs that cater to the interests and needs of campers, including sports, arts and crafts, educational games, and outdoor adventures. Foster a supportive environment by encouraging teamwork, communication, and respect among campers. Monitor camper behavior and provide guidance to resolve conflicts or issues as they arise. Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and camper progress. Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth operation of camp activities. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding camper participation and any concerns that may arise. Skills Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills: Experience working with children in various capacities such as babysitting, tutoring, or sports coaching. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid or CPR and Water safety is preferred to ensure camper safety. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with campers, staff, and parents alike. Ability to adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of all campers while maintaining an inclusive environment.
