Position Overview:
As the Lead Camp Counselor at Melody Makers Camp, you will play a pivotal role in creating a fun and engaging experience for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily activities, facilitate music and arts sessions, and ensure the safety and well-being of all campers under your care.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with the camp director to design and implement music and arts-based activities that align with our camp’s philosophy and goals. 2.
Instruction:
Lead instructional sessions in music, visual arts, drama, and other creative disciplines, catering to the diverse interests and skill levels of campers. 3.
Supervision:
Provide attentive supervision during all camp activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for campers to explore and learn. 4.
Support Team:
Work closely with assistant counselors and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and positive camper experiences. 5.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with camp staff, parents/guardians, and campers to address any concerns, share updates, and celebrate achievements. 6.
Role Model:
Serve as a positive role model for campers, embodying creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for the arts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
- Background in music, visual arts, drama, or related creative fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
