The ideal candidate will possess a background in classic and creative floral design, strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and time management abilities to ensure that all weddings and events run smoothly and meet client expectations. The Weddings and Event Manager will work closely with brides, families, and corporate clients to understand their vision, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics, ensuring a memorable experience. Responsibilities Grow revenue and profits of the wedding and events business segment of leading Birmingham florist while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction. Meet with brides, party, and event planners to understand their requirements and budgets, prepare proposals, and secure their business. Develop plans for implementation of all weddings and events in collaboration with general manager, design and delivery staffs, and any required outside vendors. Supervise installations at all weddings and events. Experience Experienced floral designer (3+ years) Proven experience in event management or a related field or position (3+ years). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to event planning. Ability to work flexible hours as needed for events, including evenings and weekends.
