The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing 2 events/month at a local apartment community, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. The Event Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and volunteers, to deliver successful events that align with our mission. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to completion. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Manage event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rental. Collaborate with team members to develop event themes and marketing strategies. Oversee fundraising initiatives related to events and ensure financial goals are met. Provide support for bereavement services and hospice care events as needed. Educate participants on available resources related to Christian counseling and mentoring programs. Lead volunteer teams during events to ensure smooth operations and positive experiences. Evaluate the success of each event through feedback collection and analysis. Experience Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred. Background in fundraising or working with non-profit organizations is a plus. Experience working with children or providing bereavement support is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor others in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
