Full Job Description Description of Duties:

The Entertainment & Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all entertainment and event activities on property, ensuring seamless experiences for guests and internal teams. This role supports our mission to bring excitement and enjoyment in an inclusive environment and our vision to be an entertainment company in constant evolution. By managing vendor relations, event logistics, and team coordination, the manager helps create memorable events that reflect the energy and innovation of our brand. Under the direction of the Director of Entertainment and Events, this position is responsible for overseeing tasks throughout the entertainment and event planning process, including meeting with vendors, pre-event preparation, onsite execution, including event set up/break down and post-event recap. Manage event staff to include, security, tech crew, housekeeping & F&B when needed. Manage schedule for events and responsible for making sure event timeline is followed. Manage budgets. Work with F&B manager to plan and execute any banquet type events on property. Manage Sunrise Stage entertainment, load in & outs, volume control and performance quality control. Coordinate the day-to-day duties surrounding pre-event, on-site and post-event planning and execution of events and projects of various sizes. Assist with meeting and event requests, including booking space, selecting menu, and ensuring all audio-visual, decor and equipment needs are met. Collaborate with staff to ensure the completion of successful events. Assist with creation, execution and implementation of detailed operations timelines, checklists, etc. Serve as an onsite lead for events, and as an important contact between guests, vendors, and staff. Assist with inventory management, storage, and supplies and equipment maintenance for the department to minimize loss/damage. Assist with load ins and load outs for concert and social events. Assist in the development of advertising plan collaborating with members of the team. Provide high level of customer service creating positive guest experiences. Develop and maintain great relationships with all guests and vendors. Handle guest complaints in a professional and polite manner and assist with problem solving. Work as a team player, be courteous and professional when interacting with guests, staff, and vendors. Assist as necessary with certain aspects of the Casino’s business development efforts. Assist the Director of Entertainment and Events and Sales and F&B Manager as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements:

High school diploma required; college degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of work experience in entertainment and events, or related field Experience in event planning, food and beverage, and catering Proficiency in MS Office applications Audio-Visual and production knowledge preferred Basic Micros POS knowledge preferred Must have excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Must have effective organizational and human relations skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends Must be willing to work a in a team environment Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with company and department standards, policies, and rules Attends appropriate staff meetings and training sessions Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check. Must pass drug testing as per company’s Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Able to work on feet for extended periods and perform tasks in fast-paced environments Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors during events Physically capable of setting up and breaking down event equipment
