Miami Florida Position Summary :

The Royal Weddings and Celebrations Specialist is responsible for coordinating and planning all weddings and celebratory events for guests sailing with Royal Caribbean across our fleet This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests requesting events on our ships overseeing the entire event planning experience Key responsibilities include ensuring that all services are requested and confirmed prior to sailing and providing support to both guests and shipboard teams for all onboard arrangements The Specialist will manage bookings as needed and ensure that all amenities services packages and payments are accurately updated in the reservation system Additionally this position seeks opportunities to cross-sell amenities and experiences enhancing the guest experience and making each event truly memorable

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Serve as the primary point of contact for guests inquiring about their booked onboard events providing information on venue availability capacities and event package selection criteria while advising them throughout the event planning process Coordinate and plan all aspects of weddings and celebratory events for sailing guests from initial contact through to post-cruise follow-up Conduct pre-cruise calls and/or video conferences for all booked events to clearly communicate expectations and prevent misunderstandings between Royal Caribbean and guests Address and resolve problems complaints and requests via phone or written correspondence adhering to response guidelines and Quality Assurance metrics Secure payment venue space necessary licenses and Food & Beverage selections ensuring all services are accurately confirmed prior to sailing for all assigned events Collaborate with various divisions within Hotel Operations including Guest Services Entertainment Food & Beverage and Housekeeping to deliver a customized experience during event planning Finalize event details with guests in accordance with an established timeline using the CRM tool Conduct final amenity reviews with guests and relevant departments to ensure accuracy and provide necessary feedback to both ship and shoreside teams before and after each sailing Schedule and conduct regular conference calls with service teams to review upcoming events and ensure seamless execution of promised programs Identify opportunities for growth and increased revenue Proficiently utilize a CRM system and integrate its tools into daily workflows

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills :

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university and/or two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required Excellent multi-tasking problem-solving organizational upselling and time management skills required Exceptional verbal and written communication and customer service skills required Detail-oriented methodical and creative Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications Two years of experience in Hotel Event Planning or Group Coordination required Preferred CRM experience Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed We know there’s a lot to consider As you go through the application process our recruiters will be glad to provide guidance and more relevant details to answer any additional questions Thank you again for your interest in Royal Caribbean Group We’ll hope to see you onboard soon!
