Job Description:

The Event Coordinator, in conjunction with the Foundation Directors, develops fundraising plans, maintaining donor relationships, and securing new donors and gifts. Contributes to the success of development activities, including but not limited to donor receptions, fundraising events, donor tours, and community engagement activities. Performs administrative and logistical duties with considerable responsibility for managing and coordinating event preparation, setup, communication, and operation. Prepare packets as necessary for team meetings that detail all aspects of upcoming events and coordinates/hosts debrief meeting with the team to coordinate the implementation of continuous event improvement. Requires experience in drafting various documents and in coordinating with vendors and internal/external audiences. Additionally, the Coordinator collaborates with other members of the Foundation team to develop strategies that enhance brand awareness and increase funding. This role requires strong critical thinking skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute complex initiatives alongside a diverse group of stakeholders. May require occasional travel to assist the supervising director of each event. Requires considerable latitude for exercising judgment, and discretion concerning highly confidential matters. Reports to the Director of Donor Relations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated success and proficiency with Microsoft products. Prior work history demonstrates strength in highly detailed work, follow-through, scheduling, and customer service. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

ANNUAL SALARY

$39,500.00
