Event Outreach & Sponsorship Coordinator Part-Time | Temporary | Palm City CrossFit – PCCF Throwdown 2025

Event Overview:

The PCCF Throwdown is an annual, high-energy fitness competition happening October 4, 2025, at Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart, FL. Now in its 4th year, the event brings together athletes, vendors, and the local community to raise funds for the Martin County Police Athletic League (PAL), which supports local youth through sports and mentorship programs.

Role Summary:

Palm City CrossFit is looking for a motivated and community-minded Event Outreach & Sponsorship Coordinator to help bring the 2025 PCCF Throwdown to life. This person will play a key role in securing event sponsors, coordinating vendors, and promoting the event across various channels. You’ll help expand the impact of the Throwdown while gaining hands-on experience in event marketing, sales, and nonprofit fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Acquisition:

Identify and contact potential local and national sponsorsPresent sponsorship packages and secure commitmentsTrack sponsor contributions and ensure agreed benefits are delivered

Vendor Coordination:

Recruit and communicate with food, fitness, and retail vendorsCoordinate logistics and ensure vendor needs are met for event day

Marketing & Promotion:

Help promote the event through social media, email, and local outreachCollaborate on promotional content and campaigns to increase visibility

Community Engagement:

Network with local businesses, gyms, and schools to spread the wordSupport grassroots outreach by distributing flyers and materials

Event Logistics Support:

Assist with planning event layout, registration, and day-of operationsHelp manage event volunteers and coordinate setup/teardown

Qualifications:

Strong communication and networking skillsSelf-starter who can manage tasks independentlyComfortable reaching out to businesses and speaking with new peoplePassion for fitness, community events, and charitable causesExperience with sponsorships, events, or marketing is a plus

Time Commitment:

~5-10 hours per week leading up to the event, with increased hours the week of October 4, 2025.

Compensation:

Free membership to Palm City CrossFit during the event prep period 20% commission on all sponsorship and vendor revenue the coordinator brings in
