$37K – $48.1K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Powerpoint Microsoft Word AutoCAD Microsoft Excel Mid-level Microsoft Office Sports Under 1 year Full Job Description The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are searching for an Event Services Coordinator to assist the Event Services Department with the overall event coordination of Concerts, Family Shows, Miami HEAT Games and small scaled events such as meetings, trainings, All Access Arena Tours, Court of Dreams, rehearsals, event load in & load out etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list. Effectively coordinate and advance all aspects of assigned events. This includes small internal/external events, co-coordinating family shows, and assisting Event Managers with Load In/Rehearsals/Load Out coverage of events. Coordinators will be responsible for overseeing and managing show load-outs, including primary contact for show, security, and cleaning. Load-outs average 4 hours post-event and overnight coverages as necessary. For all assigned Events, the Coordinator will disseminate event information with event worksheets, create event estimates, coordinate staffing of ushers, guest services, security, housekeeping, and A/V tech, and prepare final event invoices. Responsible for HEAT and concert communication sheets, wristband logs, event summary sheets, and P&Ls as assigned. Effectively communicate the facility’s policies and procedures to clients. Assist Event Management team with coordinating VIP Parties, Event Sponsorship Activations, Radio Station placement, and concourse set-ups for special events. Liaison as the Dressing Room Coordinator between the building and the show when assigned. Create event-specific signage and other show duties as necessary. Conduct building walk-throughs for all events, which will include physical inspections of various areas of the facility to ensure proper setup as well as safety for guests. Assist Arena Division and Event Services Department with projects. Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments at the same time with great attention to detail. Assist with AutoCad on sale map requests and small events map requests. Assist with event estimate/budget requests under the supervision of the Director of Events Services or the Senior Event Manager. Daily Administrative duties as assigned. Must be able to work extended/irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Previous experience working in a sports and/or live event venue preferred.
