Housed in the District’s circa-1922 Moore building, the reimagined, nearly 90,000-square-foot space integrates two, four-story structures located at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue, and includes Elastika , the site-specific commission created by the late artist and architect Zaha Hadid for the inaugural Design Miami/ exhibition in 2005. As the Programming Manager of The Club at The Moore you will be responsible for curating and executing an engaging and diverse array of events, activities, and programs designed to enrich the membership experience. You will collaborate closely with various departments to develop and implement innovative programming initiatives that align with the club’s vision and values.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, plan, and coordinate a comprehensive calendar of events and activities that cater to the interests and preferences of the membership demographic. Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering arrangements, entertainment booking, staffing, and logistics coordination. Foster a sense of community and camaraderie among members by organizing social gatherings, networking opportunities, and themed events that promote interaction and connection. Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and vendors to enhance programming offerings and access exclusive resources or discounts. Manage the programming budget effectively, ensuring that expenditures are in line with financial targets and delivering maximum value to members. Develop promotional materials and marketing campaigns to generate excitement and drive attendance for club events and activities through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and printed materials.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event planning, program development, or hospitality management, preferably within a private club or luxury hospitality setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, staff, and external partners. Creative mindset with a passion for designing unique and memorable experiences. Proficiency in event management software and tools.
