Memoir is looking for an ImmersiveExperience Event Manager who has a background in both live eventsmanagement and production management. We are looking for anindividual who can handle the uniqueness of our show which is ablend of a live event and a production set. The ideal candidate issomeone who is always thinking two steps ahead and can instruct alarge crew of staff to be on the same page on a nightly basis, inreal time. Must thrive with real time changes and solvingchallenges from night to night.

Position Overview:

Event Manager will provide excellent guest service to ensureMemoir quality standards are met. Event Manager will participate in pre-production alongsideProducer assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, on site QCwalks, and other assigned duties. Event Manager will be responsible for all staff both on and offsite: Shuttles, valet, on site parking, off site parking, security,PD and event staff and ensure quality standards and protocols arebeing met. Event Manager will walk the event continuously and monitor allstaff and activities. Event Manager will help promote event safety by monitoringattendees for signs of disruptive behavior, like excessiveintoxication, potential environmental hazards (tripping) andescalating issues to management as necessary. Event Manager will answer a variety of guest questions, andmust be knowledgeable about every aspect of the event, providingthe most accurate and up to date information possible. Event Manager will assist guests in finding their way throughthe gardens by offering concise directions and communicating withstaff. Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the dailyopening and closing procedures of the event. Event Manager will be responsible for implementing emergencyprocedures that arise. Event Manager will be responsible for submitting nightlyreports detailing the events operations and any issuesencountered. Event Manager will conduct performance reviews of staff basedon nightly observations. Event Manager will submit maintenance requests for anyidentified issues. Event Manager will participate in weather calls on theirscheduled nights. Event Manager will be available on Slack for communication andupdates. Event Manager will be responsible for scheduling staff, staffcommunications, and determining nightly staff roles. Event Manager reports to the Producer.

Requirements:

Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such asstanding and/or walking for long periods of time. Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat,rain, cold temperatures) Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodationsmay be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform theessential functions of the job. At least one year of experience in a guest-facing role Must be prompt, and be able to work all shifts asassigned. Reliable forms of communication & transportation Staff provide their own attire, with approval (black pants &shirts are recommended. Closed toe shoes are required at alltimes) Ability to organize, prioritize and execute the operation ofthe event on a nightly basis.

Has prior event and production experience Has high quality customer service experience, excellent problemsolving skills, and an acute attention to detail Has prior experience with mobile ticketing platforms Enjoys interacting with guests and also having a role behindthe scenes Has prior experience leading and motivating other teammembers Is reliable Customer service de-escalation expertise Ability to multitask Ability to take initiative Ability to manage staff, on-site HR, and scheduling Ability to write nightly reports and fill out other neededdocumentation Has an outwardly presentable demeanor & attitude Has 7 days availabilityThis is a temporary full time position.

Holidays and weekends are required.

Pay Details:
