Our Banquet Events Coordinator :

will be responsible for the administrative and operational coordination of banquet and catering events. This role serves as the organizational hub between the Event Managers, Banquet Captains, Stewarding department, and Service Staff. The Banquet Events Coordinator will ensure all essential documentation, requisitions, and staff support materials are completed accurately and on-time to uphold our service standards and to ensure successful event execution. Our selected candidate will have operational knowledge of Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Anniversary and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities:

: Catering coordination : to include assisting with catering sales efforts by booking social and Club events in JONAS software database system; preparation, process and distribution of all BEO’s, correspondence, contracts, and thank you letters; maintaining an orderly and accurate catering filing system, and reservations bookings; reviewing all bills for accuracy before presenting to client and arrange for prompt payment for all events. Event preparation : by creating stewarding requisitions, liquor requisitions and collaborate with the Event Manager and Banquet Captain to ensure accurate and timely documentation. Staff coordination : to include providing staff assignments and responsibilities throughout the event timeline (pre-event, service, post-event) for the Event Manager. Administrative duties : will include maintaining accurate records including requisitions, side work assignments, and staffing plans; communicate updates and/or changes in a clear and timely manner; and ensure all forms follow internal Club standards for presentation and procedure.

Requirements:

: Hospitality degree, preferred. Experience in banquet or hospitality operations strongly preferred. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or event management software.
