At Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, our mission is more than a tagline-it’s a commitment to building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. That mission needs passionate professionals who know how to turn great ideas into unforgettable experiences. If you’re part educator, part event producer, and part changemaker, we want you to help lead our Girl Experience programming as our next Event Manager and Teacher (Girl Experience Manager). As our next Event Manager and Teacher, you’ll take charge of designing and executing original programs and signature events across our four leadership pillars: STEM, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. This is a high-impact role that blends creativity, logistics, community partnerships, and curriculum design to ensure every girl-regardless of zip code-can access a transformative Girl Scout experience. Each day, you’ll translate strategic goals into fun, powerful programming. As an Event Manager and Teacher, you’ll oversee everything from large-scale signature events like STEAMapalooza and Mall Madness to occasional pop-up programs and volunteer-led experiences. Whether you’re building toolkits for troop leaders, leading career discovery events for teens, or coordinating with partners on outdoor camps, you’ll be delivering mission-aligned, girl-centered content that inspires confidence, curiosity, and leadership. To succeed as an Event Manager and Teacher, you’ll need to love variety and take pride in details. You’ll work collaboratively with our Advancement and Marketing teams to align messaging and track participation data. You’ll also support volunteers with training and resources so they can deliver exceptional programming throughout our community. From concept to execution to post-event reporting, you’ll own your work like the leader you are. This Event Manager and Teacher role is based at our Lake Worth HQ and follows a four-day, in-office schedule: Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with evening and weekend work during peak program periods. You’ll need access to reliable transportation, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the energy to lead both behind the scenes and on-site at events. We’re looking for an Event Manager and Teacher with at least three years of experience in youth programming, education, nonprofit leadership, or event planning. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. You’ll thrive here if you’re fluent in collaboration, skilled in platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft Office, and comfortable filming short videos or leading volunteer trainings. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or French or have experience building inclusive programs for underrepresented communities. In return, you’ll join a team that values your growth and well-being. From a four-day workweek to generous paid time off including a summer and winter shutdown, and heavily employer-subsidized health insurance, we take care of our team so you can focus on creating impact. We’re also a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, recently launched a “Grow in Your Role” pilot that outlines a clear path to promotion and performance-based bonuses in your first five years of employment, and offer Office Optional Mondays after successful completion of the introductory period. Join us in creating experiences that girls will remember for a lifetime-and that will prepare them to lead the future as our next Event Manager and Teacher. Ready to apply?
